Voted by their peers as the experts in their pediatric subspecialties
You’ll see some familiar names among the 2026 Virginia’s Top Doctors list just published by Virginia Business. An amazing 105 CHoR physicians were voted among the state’s best as we kick off the new year.
Licensed physicians practicing medicine in Virginia were asked to select which of their peers they’d consider to be tops in their areas of expertise to compile this third annual list, which has been published in cooperation with the Medical Society of Virginia. It covers 87 medical specialties but does not include every pediatric subspecialty represented at CHoR – meaning many more of our outstanding physicians weren’t eligible to be included.
“The physicians at CHoR are experts not only in medicine, but in caring for a precious population of patients – our children,” said Dr. Karen Hendricks-Muñoz, physician-in-chief and chair of the Department of Pediatrics. “They bring a unique combination of skill, knowledge and passion to their life-changing work every day.
