Telehealth services: Virtual health care to help your child
We know that illness and injury doesn’t stop for a pandemic – and neither do we. Health care looks a little different these days. We’re here for our Virginia families in person and “virtually” through telehealth during these challenging times. Telehealth or “virtual visits” are efficient, convenient and safe and can be done for everything from sick visits and physical therapy – to surgery follow-up and well-child checkups.
Connect to a health care provider from the comfort of your home
To have a virtual visit, you just need a mobile device, tablet or computer with internet connection. You will receive instructions on how to prepare for the visit. On your appointment day, you will be able to discuss any symptoms, review results, schedule a follow-up appointment and more.
How to schedule a virtual appointment for your child
Step 1: Call 804-828-CHOR or request an appointment online
For physical, occupational or speech therapy appointments, please call the therapy center nearest you
Step 2: When scheduling your child's appointment, choose between a video visit or a telephone visit. We’ll go through the necessary technology and answer any questions you have as we schedule the appointment.
Step 3: On the day of your child’s appointment, we will call you 20 minutes before the appointment to ensure you are ready for your visit. We will be there for any questions, and to make sure everything is ready for you to see your provider.
