Hi everyone! My name is Sara Mohamed, a peds intern at VCU! I grew up in Egypt then moved to Qatar few years ago where I went to my medical school, WCM-Q.
I love playing and watching tennis, reading, taking photos and baking. I also love being outdoors and going for long walks to relax and recharge. I like to plan my walks to include stopping by a new bakery or coffee shop. With Richmond being an official foodie town, I am grateful for all the different options I have! I chose VCU because I loved the program’s structure, schedule, and supportive and warm culture. So, I was very excited to find how homely and walkable Richmond is and knew that I would love to call this place my home. On my interview day, I explored the Canal Walk and it has been my favorite walking spot since then!
