Hi! My name is Jaimie Parambil and I am a first-year pediatric resident here at CHOR! I am originally from New York and went to medical school at Albany Medical College. When I visited VCU I knew I loved the program because of all the residents and faculty that I was able to meet. When I got here, it was confirmed that the people here are amazing and there is a supportive environment with great opportunities for hands-on teaching. Although I am not completely decided on what I want to do, I have already had opportunities to get exposure in multiple subspecialties. Virginia is quite far from my home, but I love the small city feel of Richmond and there is plenty to do. There is so much great food in Richmond and plenty of fun activities whether you love the outdoors or not. There is also so much to explore a quick drive outside of Richmond as well. Looking forward to seeing you on the interview trail and answering any of your questions!
