Pediatric nephrology fellowship program
The program is a premier training site for future academic pediatric nephrologists
Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU’s (CHoR) fellowship program in nephrology is a three-year ACGME accredited training program. A fellow finishing training in this program is assured of a sound education in clinical nephrology, a firm basis in research methodologies with excellent personal and professional development opportunities.
How to apply
The nephrology fellowship program is accredited by the ACGME and participates in the Electronic Residency Application Service. Our next fellowship position will start July 8, 2021. Please submit your application to ERAS when the 2021 recruitment season opens in August of 2020.
Application to the fellowship program is highly competitive. Persons who wish to apply should be board eligible or board certified in pediatrics. Applications from women and minorities are encouraged.
Once we have received all application materials in good order, on-site interviews are scheduled. During the interview, candidates will have an opportunity to meet faculty and current fellows and tour the facilities.
