The Children’s Mental Health Symposium is annual conference presented by Virginia Treatment Center for Children, the child & adolescent division of the VCU Department of Psychiatry and the pediatric psychiatric service of Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
Each year’s theme rotates between early childhood, school-aged children and adolescent and young adult years. The target audience for this event mental and behavioral health providers and school professionals including guidance counselors, social workers, special education, psychologists, teachers and nurses. The symposium usually takes place in early October.
