Lab services

Pediatric lab services in Richmond and throughout the community

Lab services are available on our downtown campus and at locations throughout the community. Walk-ins are welcome with orders for routine lab work from CHoR providers and providers in the community (except LabCorp).
Bring your insurance card. View a list of all participating insurance plans.
When possible, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled closing time.
Families can ask their patient access rep at check-in to help them view estimates prior to routine blood draws.
High-cost molecular/genetic testing requires pre-authorization, which should be completed by the provider who ordered the test.
We do not accept the following lab requests from non-CHoR providers:
- Lab work requests for LabCorp
- Custom panels or miscellaneous tests
