CHoR's comprehensive hemophilia program
Our goal is to have your child living a healthy, normal life
With knowledge and careful management, children with hemophilia and other blood disorders can often live healthy, normal lives.
Our specialists at the Central Virginia Center for Coagulation Disorders' Hemophilia Treatment Center educate and care for patients and their families. It is Virginia's only "lifespan" center for bleeding and clotting disorders, treating both children and adults.
Experts at the center care for patients with the following conditions:
- Glanzmann's thrombasthenia
- Platelet dysfunction
- Von Willebrand Disease
- Other acquired bleeding disorders
Dedicated coagulation laboratories enhance and expedite the diagnosis, management and monitoring of our patients with bleeding disorders.
