Research areas

I currently serve as the Co-PI of an internally funded grant for concussion through severe TBI in pediatrics. This grant is part of the Neuroscience growth at CHoR/VCU Health for pediatric through 25-year-old patients who have sustained a traumatic brain injury.

My component is outpatient, education, clinical care, research, operational components for transition of care into outpatient setting and in aging out of the pediatric clinical care setting. Increased patient access, research, national collaboration are some of the components to this grant. Additional funding was awarded with VCU Health for a total of $3.9 million.
