Bio

Dr. Rashida Woods is a board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician at the Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU Pediatric Emergency Department and Assistant Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System. She completed a general pediatric residency at Baylor College of Medicine – Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, TX, followed by a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at Case Western University – Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, OH.

Rashida is currently the program director of the pediatric emergency medicine fellowship, the director of Safety, Quality and Process Improvement for the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine and the Pediatric Stroke Task Force co-team leader.
