Bio

Dr. Tazuddin Mohammed is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics - Section on Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. 

Dr. Mohammed is co-founder and Medical Director of the Neonatal Continuing Care Program (NCCP) a regional comprehensive neonatal neurodevelopmental follow-up program serving central Virginia. Dr. Mohammed is also a member of the Virginia Dept of Health Statewide Early Intervention Committee, the DOH Hearing Loss Committee and the Virginia Depart of Health Birth Injury Committee. Dr. Mohammed’s, clinical scholarship and research interests include cardiovascular physiology, development of cardiovascular tools and clinical factors that improve neurodevelopmental outcomes in the high-risk infant.  

Dr. Mohammed serves as the Chair of the CHOR Neonatal Follow-Up QI committee and is a member of the Perinatal Quality Council at CJW. Dr. Mohammed clinically serves as attending faculty in the CHOR Regional level IV NICU as well as the Chippenham and Johnston Willis Hospital level III NICUs and Newborn Services and Community Memorial Newborn Services. Dr as well as in the Neonatal Continuing Care Program.
