Bio

Dr. Astoria is the Chair of the CHoR Neonatal Antibiotic Stewardship Committee and the Neonatal Sepsis QI Committees. He serves as the liaison to neonatal sepsis for the NICU and the VCU Health and CHoR Quality Councils. Clinically, Dr. Astoria serves as Attending Faculty in CHoR's regional level IV NICU, the Neonatal Continuing Care Program and on CHoR's Air and Ground NICU Transport Team.

Dr. Astoria is a Physician Informaticist and Epic Physician Builder. Dr. Astoria provides clinical perspective to IT professionals regarding the EHR build and functionality, and as an Epic Physician Builder, he updates and creates changes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and quality.
