Bio
Kristin Current has been an outpatient pediatric speech language pathologist at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU since 2017. She currently serves as the pediatric speech therapy in-service coordinator and a member of the pediatric voice committee. She earned her undergraduate degree in Foreign Languages and Literature with a Concentration in Three Languages: Spanish, Russian, and German through the University of Delaware. After serving as an AmeriCorps*VISTA and program director at a nonprofit adult literacy organization and working as an advanced certified dyslexia tutor, she returned to school and earned her graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology through the University of South Florida in Tampa.
Outside of her passion for speech language therapy, you will probably find her outdoors with her family completing the Virginia State Parks Trail Quest.
