Kaitlyn "Kait" Gibson Mechling, DPT

Kait joined CHoR in the spring of 2015. She enjoys riding horses, running, and exploring the outdoors with her husband and twin boys. Kait enjoys working with patients of all ages, particularly the youth athlete population. She enjoys treating a variety of orthopedic conditions, with a special interest in lower extremity injuries. Kait also has an interest in early development specifically, motor development of premature infants.

For the past 5 years, she has spent much of her free time volunteering with the Central Virginia Disciples football team as their sideline medical professional. Kait is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and its Sport and Pediatric Sections.
