Bio

Dr. Chen is a board-certified pediatric critical care medicine physician and pediatrician. He also serves as program director for the Pediatric Residency at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.

His academic interests include medical education, evidence-based medicine, research methodology, quality improvement, rapid response systems, patient safety and health disparities. He has won multiple teaching awards and is passionate about fostering future generations of pediatric and pediatric critical care medicine physicians.
