Elizabeth A Armstrong, MD

Dr. Armstrong joined CHoR in 2025. She cares for childn in both the inpatient and outpatient settings in the Divisions of General Pediatrics and Hospital Medicine.

She completed her undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University where she graduated magna cum laude with highest honors in Neuroscience. She attended medical school at VCU School of Medicine, followed by a pediatric residency at Mayo Clinic where she also served as a chief resident and stayed on faculty in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine. Dr. Armstrong then spent a year at University of North Carolina in the Division of General Pediatrics before returning to Richmond. 

When she's not caring for kids, Dr. Armstrong enjoys cooking, reading, and being outside with her husband and son.
