Dr. Bhurtel has practiced pediatric, neonatal and fetal cardiology around the world before settling in Richmond, VA. Recent awards include resident of the year in 2013, and rookie of the year at UPH in2019.
Dr. Bhurtel enjoys hiking and road biking, and is a folk dancer to Nepali folk music.
