Debra Hearington ALWAYS takes her time with us, answering every single question completely until we understand. She addresses my son (17 yo) with respect and dignity, and allows him the chance to ask questions, advocate for himself, and discuss his personal health issues talking directly to him. I love this because pretty soon he will be going to appointments on his own and this is great practice for him to be able to communicate with his providers. It also shows that he is in control of his health, and Debra displayed this by conversing with him directly.

My daughter said this was the first time she ever left an appointment really feeling seen. She felt the provider really listened to her and engaged with her.
