Dr. Long joined our faculty in 2023 to provide care for both children and adults. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and American College of Rheumatology. He is certified in musculoskeletal ultrasound in rheumatology (RhMSUS).

I didn't feel my concerns were taken as seriously as I was hoping - was hoping for more collaboration to get an answer/resolution on what the issue is as opposed to being prescribed meds right away.

Dr. Long is consistently kind, thoroughly professional, and takes plenty of time to address concerns. Also looks at the "big picture" which is so helpful being someone with several conditions.

I have been receiving care for my autoimmune since 2008. With Dr. Long is the FIRST time I felt heard. First time my pain was better cuz of the meds he prescribed. First time I felt a dr had a hold on my illness. FIRST time. I ran a medical facility and have never seen the care that Dr. Long gives. I so hope you let him know the value he has in VCU Health. You're lucky to have him. I wouldn't want to lose him. Please makes sure he know how blessed I feel to have him as my doc
