Bio
Dr. Meloy served as the pediatrician for the Crater Health District, providing medical care for the underserved in the Petersburg area for six years. She returned to VCU to teach, provide primary care and conduct research. She has gone on medical mission trips to Russia, Ukraine, India, Estonia, Guatemala and Romania. Dr. Meloy serves as the medical director of the VCU Medical Center’s Newborn Nursery and conducts various clinical research projects on vaccines and newborn jaundice. Dr. Meloy also coordinates the annual pediatric CME conference, Peds at the Beach, held in Virginia Beach.
