Katie has presented at local, state-wide, and national conferences on the topic of assistive technology and regularly completes staff training related to AT. She completes assistive technology evaluations for pediatric and adult clients.
Her caseload includes patients in clinics, outpatient therapy, and on the Transitional Care Unit which provides pediatric long-term care. She has enjoyed helping to develop and grow the assistive technology program at CHoR including the programmatic feature of the alternative drive control program.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, visiting state and local parks, gardening and photography.
