Andrea graduated from PT school in 1997. She spent 3 years practicing in an adult outpatient facility. She has worked with pediatric clients since 2000 in a variety of positions/locations including the school system, early Intervention and outpatient settings. She has additional certifications in early intervention and kinesio taping.
Since 2008, she has worked for Children's Hospital seeing a full range of clients from several weeks old up to 21 years of age. Her specialty is working with children ranging in ages from a few weeks old to 3 years old. She works with many children who are premature, who have cardiac complications, developmental delay, neurological disorders and rare genetic disorders.
Also, she volunteers for Children's Assistive Technology Service (CATS) in Richmond and helps families access assistive technology for free. In her spare time, she likes to hang out with her two children who are 15 and 19 years old. Her family enjoys going to the drive-in theaters, camping, playing card/board games and trying different restaurants.
