Bio

Dr. Donowitz is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Infectious Diseases Society of America, and the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene. He is a member of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.   Dr. Donowitz is active clinically and is a researcher.  His research focuses on enteric infection, inflammation, growth, and neurodevelopment.  Dr. Donowitz lives in Richmond, Va with his wife Kate who is also a pediatrician.
