Dr. Mark Astoria Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics - Section on Neonatal Perinatal Medicine. 

Dr. Astoria is the Chair of the CHOR and CJW Neonatal Antibiotic Stewardship Committee and the Neonatal Sepsis QI Committees. He serves as the liaison to neonatal sepsis for the NICU and the VCUHS and CHOR Quality Council.  Dr. Astoria clinically serves as Attending Faculty in the CHOR Regional level IV NICU as well as the Chippenham and Johnston Willis Hospital level III NICUs and Newborn Services. Dr. Astoria serves as attending neonatologist in the Neonatal Continuing Care Program and on the CHOR Air and Ground NICU Transport Team.
