Where is free self-parking available? Where do I get my ticket validated?
Children’s Pavilion Deck (10th and Broad streets)
-Validations available on Level 1 at the Sky Lobby information desk
Patient and Visitor Deck (12th and Leigh streets)
-Validations available at Critical Care Hospital Ground Floor information desk
Is parking validation done with a sticker, hole punch or new ticket? Do I need to bring my ticket inside to get it validated?
After verifying your appointment or the patient you are visiting, we validate patient and patient visitor parking tickets with a special hole punch. Hourly rates will apply if parking tickets are not validated, so don’t forget to bring your parking ticket inside to get it validated (punched) during your visit. On your way out, hand your validated ticket to the parking deck attendant and you’re good to go!
Do you still offer valet parking? Is it free?
We offer convenient valet parking at five locations across the MCV Campus, including the Children’s Pavilion. Valet parking is $5.
I’m picking up medication at the Children’s Pavilion pharmacy, can I get my parking validated?
Yes! Active patients with other business in the Children’s Pavilion can get free self-parking validation.
Can I get my parking ticket validated when I pick up medical records, medication or other documentation from my child’s doctor?
Yes! Active patients with other business in the Children’s Pavilion can get free self-parking validation.
I’m taking my child to the pediatric emergency room in CCH. Can I get my parking validated?
Absolutely! Stop by the information desk on the ground level of CCH for a validation punch.
I’m visiting my best friend in the hospital. Can I get my parking validated?
You bet! Thanks for taking the time to visit our patients. Stop by one of the validation locations to get your parking ticket punched. You will be asked to share your friend or family member’s name.
Can adult patients park in the Children’s Pavilion and get a free self-parking validation?
Moms and dads-to-be are welcome to park in the Children’s Pavilion. Don’t forget to bring your ticket to Level 1 Sky Lobby for validation.

How much is it if I lose my ticket?
The lost ticket fee is $25. We recommend keeping your ticket in your wallet or somewhere safe!
How can I pay my hourly rate?
We accept cash and credit cards. We do not accept checks.
Do you validate parking for vendors?
No. Free self-parking is only for patients and those visiting patients. Vendors and other guests will be required to pay the hourly rate.
Do you validate parking for potential employees coming for an interview?
No. Validation is only for patients and those visiting patients in the hospital. Departments can buy parking validation stickers as needed, or your visitor will need to pay the hourly rate.
I’m a team member and I’m only going to be working for one hour. Is it OK for me to park in the self-parking deck and pay?
Kids come first at CHoR! Employee and student parking is strictly prohibited in all patient and visitor decks.
I’m hosting a meeting on campus. Can my off-campus guests get their parking validated?
