My friends. What an honor it is to virtually meet you. We are all very excited to welcome you to VCU Pediatrics. My name is Will. I'm a second-year resident from Spotsylvania, Virginia. I've lived all over VA, but love that I get to call Richmond home. Richmond is big enough that there's always new restaurants to try or things to check out, but it's small enough that I can't go anywhere without running into some buds. Having the James run right through the city means that outdoor excitement is always an option. Plus, it's so affordable! I think our program here is a great representative of this great city. Everyone is so approachable and down to earth. There's a real sense of community in this program that exists across all levels of trainings and specialties. Medicine has a nasty habit of devolving into hierarchy, but I think we do a tremendous job of avoiding those pitfalls. This is an exciting time for you all, and each one of us is happy to answer any questions you might have. Have fun!
