Hi! I am glad you’re looking at VCU for pediatric residency! Though I grew up in Colorado, I love that I am able to call Virginia home. I completed medical school here at VCU where I not only fell in love with the program, but I also met my wonderful wife Abby out here in Virginia. I do know that Virginia is for Lovers! I knew this was the program for me after working with such incredibly supportive faculty and the awesome residents who are also great friends. This is a group I love to be with inside and outside the hospital, working hard or hanging out, we have good times!
I completed my undergraduate degree at Brigham Young University in Utah before coming here to VCU. My wife and I keep busy with a new puppy who loves to join us on walks, exploring parks, or playing in the James River. When we have longer breaks we love to go camping, visit the beach, or travel up to DC. I hope to meet you soon, and we look forward to welcoming a new group of residents!
