Mona Abdelmoneim, MD

Hi! My name is Mona Abdelmoneim and I am a pediatrics PGY-2 resident. I am originally from Cairo, Egypt but have grown up and attended medical school in Doha, Qatar. Since moving to Richmond with my husband, we have been on a mission to try every restaurant by the time I’m done with residency, and so far I think we’re ahead of schedule! During my free time, I enjoy baking, biking/walking on the capital trail, and indoor cycling. I love our residency family at VCU and am lucky to have the best co-residents. Throughout my training, I have gravitated towards multiple areas in the field and because of that I plan to pursue general pediatrics in areas of need.
