Hello! My name is Hiral Patel and I am a third-year Pediatric Resident. I grew up in Africa and received my D.O. degree from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, VA. I have been settled in Richmond for the past 15 years and glad could come back for Residency. My residency experience has been phenomenal with great mentors as attending and friends as residents. General Pediatrics seems to be my calling which is what I plan to do moving forward. I have fallen in love with Richmond, it is so diverse and has lots of outdoor as well as indoor activities to enjoy with friends and family. I definitely have enjoyed my walks along the James River and Belle Isle, numerous parks, museums, and Botanical Garden. I enjoy the cultural diversity the city has to offer and the festivities that we all can experience. Hope you can join us and experience the same and much more!
