Hi everyone! I'm originally from San Diego, California, and went to undergrad at Rutgers University and medical school at Western University of Health Sciences Osteopathic School. I decided to come to Richmond because I loved how everyone is so friendly here! All the attending's here are really approachable and super helpful- with makes rounding so much more enjoyable. The faculty is also great at getting you involved in research projects if you are interested in doing any which is a great opportunity. My co-residents are the best- I came here without knowing anyone in Richmond and immediately felt part of the family. We've gotten to explore Richmond and the surrounding areas. Richmond is great because they have amazing food here with some really homey places, clutch breweries, and we have a great outdoor scene here with mountain biking trails close by and hiking in Shenandoah which is about an hour away. The city and surrounding area has enough to do but isn't too overwhelming (also the cost of living is reasonable). I'm super stoked I got to come here and have gotten to meet so many amazing friends:)
