Hello and welcome to VCU Peds! We are so excited to meet you. You’re probably super nervous (we all were), but take a deep breath and remember that YOU GOT THIS! What drew me to VCU were the friendly residents and faculty I met during interview day. And believe me, they still are! I love my co-residents and know I can always approach them and faculty with my problems or to catch up. I’m a New Jersey girl but I never feel too far from home knowing I have people I can count on here. I lived in Philly for a few years at Drexel U so I’m no stranger to the big city life, but Richmond has plenty to offer- mainly the amazing food options! I personally enjoy being home with my videogames but when I venture out there are tons of bars, restaurants and breweries to visit. It’s also a great advantage to be less than 2 hours from Virginia beaches. Richmond has something for everyone to love. We hope you have a great interview season and hopefully we’ll see you next year!
