Stephanie joined Children's Hospital Foundation in 2007 as the Special Events Coordinator, coming from a background in event management for a conference center in Fredericksburg, VA. When she first began, she was responsible for planning and implementing the Foundation's special events calendar. In her current role, Stephanie manages the Foundation's special events and third party events, volunteer program, and community outreach program. She also works with other local organizations, such as churches and clubs, to develop and grow relationships in the community to support the Foundation's mission.
A middle child with two brothers, Stephanie spent most of her childhood in Fredericksburg and went on to get a Bachelor of Science Degree from George Mason University in Health, Fitness and Recreation Resources, with a concentration in Tourism and Event Planning.
Stephanie finds inspiration in her work from the many children the hospital serves as well as the generous supporters she is fortunate enough to work with each and every day. The Foundation is lucky to have support from a wide variety of individuals, groups and businesses, which makes Stephanie's job fun, exciting, and different every day.
Stephanie lives in Henrico County with her husband, Tim, daughter, Harper, and Chocolate Lab, Ridgely. She enjoys annual ski trips to Snowshoe, WV, beach trips to the Outer Banks, and as many opportunities for boating and water sports as she can fit in on the weekends during the summer.
