Dr. Rosenthal is an experienced fetal cardiologist specializing in prenatal diagnosis of congenital heart disease. CHD is the most common birth defect, occurring in 1 in 100 live births. Advanced technology allows Dr. Rosenthal to identify heart defects before birth and enables early diagnosis and planning for the best possible outcome. As the region's only board-certified pediatric cardiologist with advanced training in fetal cardiology, her arrival in 2017 brought new expertise and reassurance to families across Virginia.
Prior to joining CHoR, Dr. Rosenthal practiced at Children?s National Medical Center. She was named one of Super Doctors rising stars in 2013-2014.
She is a member of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
