Dr. Corey's lab is currently studying zebrafish to identify genetic factors in patients with Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome, one of the more common inherited bone marrow failure syndromes.

Bio

Dr. Corey joined the VCU faculty in 2015 as chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology and the inaugural Children's Hospital Foundation Endowed Chair in Pediatric Cancer Research. He is also the co-leader of the Cancer Molecular Genetics research program at VCU Massey Cancer Center.
