Dr. Jennifer Accardo joined the VCU faculty in 2017. She is on the editorial board of The Journal of Pediatrics and treasurer of Kennedy Fellows Association. Accardo is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Sleep Research Society, Child Neurology Society, Kennedy Fellows Association and Virginia Academy of Sleep Medicine.

In 2015 Accardo was named a Top Doc for pediatric sleep medicine by Baltimore magazine. She is also the recipient of the Excellence in Teaching Award from Kennedy Krieger Institute, Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Training Program.
