    When children are born with or develop a kidney or urinary tract disorder, the body's ability to clean waste and control blood pressure can be affected. Our experts in pediatric nephrology at CHoR use a variety of procedures to make their diagnoses, including:

    Children with chronic urorenal conditions often require the care of both the nephrology and urology teams. CHoR's urorenal clinic brings nephrology and urology specialists, testing and support services to one convenient appointment. CHoR's comprehensive approach to evaluation and management enhances efficiency of care for children with chronic urorenal conditions by decreasing consultation time and multiple appointments for both children and their families. Urorenal clinic is held twice a month at VCU Medical Center at Stony Point.
